We seek to address gaps amongst vulnerable children, youth, women & persons with disabilities in areas of empowerment (unemployment & food insecurity), education, health, peacebuilding and human rights. We support parents, youth, women & persons with disabilities to utilize their full potentials towards realistic, productive & sustainable engagements.
Mission Uganda champions the rights and interest of the most vulnerable; focusing on children, youth empowerment, women and persons with disabilities through diverse intermediation strategies in the practice areas of empowerment (economic, environment & food insecurity), peace building, human rights, health and education.

Moral principles/norms for certain standards of human behaviour that are regularly protected in different societal settings. Mission Uganda targets sexual reproductive rights and land rights of women & persons with disabilities.
Supporting persons to discover & claim social or economic power. Groups engage in VSLA, Apiary/bee keeping, Liquid soap making, handmade crafts & re-usable pads, hairdressing and agri-business activities.
Resolving injustice in nonviolent ways and transforming conditions that generate conflict. Supporting community structures to handle violent land conflicts through mediation and reconciliation.
Providing both clinical and non-clinical services through static health sites and community outreaches. Offering youth friendly services like guidance & counselling, HIV testing, cervical cancer screening, and family planning.
Supporting school going children in formal education and life skills for in-school and out-of-school adolescent girls. Scholarships for disabled children, mentorship programs, and reusable pads production by 60% of empowered girls.
"My Life My Responsibility" program supported by SOS Children Villages aims to support vulnerable families to build capacity for protecting and caring for children.
Supporting beneficiaries across six districts: Omoro, Pader, Gulu, Amuru, Lamwo and Nwoya through direct field interventions and partnerships with CBOs and CSOs.
