Project Overview

The CASCADE Project represents a revolutionary community-led development approach that empowers local communities to drive their own transformation. Through comprehensive training of 263 volunteers including community trainers, cultural leaders, and local councilors, we are creating sustainable change from within communities themselves.

This innovative project focuses on three critical areas: nutrition improvement, health system strengthening, and social norm transformation. By working with respected community members and leaders, CASCADE ensures that development initiatives are culturally appropriate, locally owned, and sustainably implemented.

Key Focus Areas

  • Community-led nutrition education and behavior change
  • Health system strengthening through volunteer networks
  • Social norm transformation for gender equality
  • Cultural leader engagement for sustainable change
  • Local government capacity building
