A family strengthening project focused on "Cost effective Sustainable and Innovative Responses for children and young people" working with schools and households on child protection, education and environmental protection.
The CSI III Project is Mission Uganda's family strengthening initiative titled "Cost effective Sustainable and Innovative Responses for children and young people". The project focuses on working with schools and households/community on areas of child protection, education and environmental protection respectively.
This social protection program directly contributes to strengthening the socio-economic empowerment of vulnerable families and schools with services using a targeted service approach. The overall focus ensures durable and holistic family empowerment while putting them in a reasonable position to better look after their environment.
The project works with 100 households in Omoro district covering two parishes of Minja & Gem with engagement of 10 villages, while also extending coverage to Pader and Agago districts.

Community assessments conducted across Omoro, Pader, and Agago districts. Health facility mapping completed and partnerships established with Ericks Development Partner. Baseline studies initiated for child survival interventions.
